Embryosis

This painting merges the style of the surrealists and impressionists to reduce an image to its color. I wanted to push the boundary of what it means to make an image of shapes; Our history has undergone the same phenomenon. This painting has many meditations of art over the years, and how it houses the shape of culture. When we review history, it becomes hard to connect with past generations because their relative environment feels disconnected from our current experience. I wanted to show history and art and figures in motion.
